Agnes Vogt

Agnes Vogt is responsible for the international promotion of children’s books, and the translation grants for illustrated children’s books. Agnes Vogt (b. 1968) grew up in The Netherlands, France and England and studied at the University of Amsterdam and Università di Catania. She has worked in publishing since 1993, starting off in Amsterdam (Florence Publishing), then Bath (Victoria House Publishing) and London (Dorling Kindersley). From 1999 to 2004, she coordinated national marketing campaigns and prizes at the ‘CPNB’(Collectieve Propaganda van het Nederlandse Boek, an organisation that promotes Dutch literature). In summer 2004, she became the children’s book specialist at the Dutch Foundation for Literature, and since 2015 she also heads the Foundation’s international department.
