Fleur van Koppen

Prizes, Dutch Literary Translation Days, Modern Classics specialist (Schwob programme) Fleur van Koppen is a program officer in the team Literary Translations. Thanks to her studies and her work experience, in which she closely followed the careers of many literary translators, she is very familiar with the Dutch translation world. Her work nowadays includes supervising two juries; that of the Nederlands Letterenfonds Vertaalprijs and that of the Europese Literatuurprijs. She is also responsible, together with colleague Marije de Bie, for the organization of the annual Translation Days. Through the Schwob grant scheme and the Schwob program for translated classics, she and Alexandra Koch keep in touch with publishers and bookshops across the country
